Eating on a budget...

We live on a rather low salary. I was wondering if any of you had any ideas for eating in a healthful way on a little bit of money. We are eating "well" right now on around $400.00 a month, thanks mostly to Aldis (aldi.com). The food isn't exactly the best, but it's tasty and cheap. I try to substitute the white flour for whole wheat and things like that...make my own bread, avoid the pre-packaged things and sugar. I would love to hear your ideas for getting more healthy, whole foods into our diet without adding any more cost.

I am trying to go to the Farmer's Market more. It's a great way to promote good eating, local farmers, and etc. I'd love to find something that i saw out west that was called bountiful basket. It was kind of like angelfood ministries. But with farmer market stuff!!!!

Wow, thats really great. Do you know where about this distribution center is? And do they do any sort of income analysis?
